Mike Indorato – The Flying Artist
Michael Indorato, known as the Flying Artist, likes to paint BIG and has a reputation of getting air! You’ll find him “flying” on Tennessee Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 24, with his world renowned Spindorato –– a giant contraption with a low strung trapeze that allows him to “fly” while he paints.
Several other creative minds from South Jersey will be joining Indorato to showcase and sell their artwork. They include:
Michael Clineman –– His desire to create is fueled by a love of nature and a respect for the world’s oceans. He prefers to use recycled and reclaimed materials in his works.
Ruben D. Garcia: He is a fine art photographer and creates images from both film and digital.
Heather Deegan Hires: She is a body painter and creates abstract acrylic paintings.
Christian Mauriello: His artwork explores pop culture through collage, audio sampling and mixed media. Creative Director of Retrofuture USA.
This #TennAveAC Artist Showcase begins at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. at 146 Tennessee Avenue –– about 50 yards past the Beer Hall and across the street. All artists will have pieces for sale. DJ Skyline will be rocking tunes, and there will be a bar onsite to buy wine, cocktails and hot chocolate. This is a free event sponsored by Rhythm & Spirits and Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. Both restaurants will be offering food and drink specials to attendees.
