Are You Ready For Some Football?

The NFL season is finally here! Yes, the kids are back to school and the summer is slipping away, but who cares?! We have football! Our Fun Hog team is made up of a variety of fans, so we are always on the hunt for a place that will be showing the out of network games along with the Birds. With the boom in outdoor dining over the past year, we’ve put together a list of our favorite spots to watch the games al fresco.

TAILGATERS: Tailgater’s has gone all in with their outdoor space. Protected from the parking lot behind a tall, sleek, barricade the entire area is covered. So not only are you protected from the wind and rain, but it truly feels like a secret hideaway.  With TV’s hanging from the ceiling and on the walls, you’ll never miss a snap. Their menu is great for eating all day. Plus, you can’t beat a cold beer and some fresh popcorn! They will have beer specials rotating weekly during the season.

MCGETTIGAN’S 19th HOLE: The outdoor space at McGettigan’s looks over the Seaview golf course and spans the entire parking lot behind the bar. With the addition of some shipping containers brought in last year, they have transformed the lot into a buzzing sports bar. Worried about a chill in the air? McGettigan’s will have their heat lamps at the ready this season to keep everyone comfortable. Their menu is full of creative bar food. You can’t go wrong with any of their buffalo tender dishes!

MAYNARD’S: The Starlight Garden at Maynard’s has two full bars and lots of TV’s. This local dive bar is a great place to check out if your pup wants to tag along on game day. With fresh squeezed fruit on the ready, breakfast cocktails are a must for those that head out early. Plus, they have food and drink specials every Sunday.

Make sure to get your card punched every Monday night for a free Filet Mignon dinner and cocktail hour at the QB Club Party on January 17th.  Can’t commit to every Monday?
